Key Responsibilities

  1. To learn and assist in the installation, maintenance, test and repair of electrical systems in industrial, commercial and domestic premises.
  2. To learn and assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of electric heating and control solutions.
  3. To assist with routine checking and testing of all types of electrical systems, including the location and repair of faults and the production of certification.
  4. To promote the Company and all its service offerings and to provide customers with advice on the systems installed, including advice on efficient operation.
  5. To attend college courses as required by GEL and pass the assignments and examinations in order to complete the qualification.
  6. Be aware of and comply with local legislation, specifically related to Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and Data Protection.
  7. Such other duties as may be allocated and interchange of duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • On course to complete the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electronic Technical Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • May be required to attend other training as appropriate
  • Must have a knowledge of current IET Regulations
  •  A current category “B” driving licence would be beneficial
